Senior Corporate & Private Equity Associate

McGuireWoods is seeking an associate to join its Corporate and Private Equity practice and support a nationally recognized deal team advising private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, portfolio companies and strategic investors. You will help quarterback transactions, manage workstreams, coordinate with clients and opposing counsel, and contribute to the strategic judgment that drives successful outcomes.The role will involve platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, exits and other complex corporate transactions, as well as governance and investor-relations matters arising from investment activity.The ideal candidate will have five to seven years of experience handling acquisitions for private equity funds and related investors, with demonstrated ability to manage key aspects of transactions independently.
