Attorneys on the team work closely with clients on issues involving federal and state health care regulations, licensure and certification requirements, fraud and abuse laws, privacy and security obligations, reimbursement matters, and health care transactions. The attorney in this role will work closely with partners and clients to provide practical, business-focused guidance on a broad range of health care regulatory and compliance matters. Responsibilities include advising clients on compliance with federal and state health care laws and regulations, assisting with health care transactions and due diligence, supporting licensure and enrollment matters, preparing and negotiating contractual arrangements, and analyzing regulatory developments affecting health care organizations. The attorney will also assist clients in responding to government inquiries, audits, and investigations, while helping them develop proactive compliance strategies that support operational success and reduce regulatory risk.
The ideal candidate has between three to seven years’ health care experience at a large or mid‑size law firm. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit the following skills and characteristics:

• Exercise of judgment, use of practice problem solving, and willingness to take a leadership role in managing cases and other projects
