JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our growing Attorney Programming & Development team as an Attorney Professional Development Assistant, where you'll play a key role in supporting high-impact initiatives that contribute to attorney success and professional growth.
In this dynamic role, you'll provide administrative coordination, data management, and logistical support across a variety of attorney development programs, including onboarding, assimilation, mentoring, professional development, and attorney training initiatives. You'll collaborate with attorneys, presenters, and internal stakeholders to help deliver well-organized, engaging programs while ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and continuous program support.
This job requires flexibility in work schedule and may require occasional overtime. A hybrid schedule may be available after the successful completion of a New Hire Probationary Period.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide administrative support for firmwide attorney onboarding, including integration activities, orientation logistics, communications, program materials, and expense tracking
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of attorney programs, trainings, mentoring initiatives, professional development offerings, and assimilation activities
Coordinate training sessions and meetings, including calendaring, room reservations, technology setup, program materials, attendee communications, and LMS (Learning Management System) tracking
Maintain detailed and accurate records of program participation, attendance, evaluations, expenses, and related activities
Assist in the creation, maintenance, and ongoing accuracy of attorney programming, training, and onboarding databases
Utilize the LMS to enter program information, track participation, generate reports, and identify training trends
Prepare rosters, reports, program materials, follow-up communications, and other administrative deliverables as needed
Collaborate with attorneys, presenters, and internal stakeholders to support a seamless program experience and ensure successful execution of firm initiatives
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Strong technical capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new software programs and internal systems
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments
Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when working with attorneys and firm leadership
Comfort managing detailed administrative processes and recurring program logistics
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a law firm, professional services, higher education, or similar administrative environment preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position may be considered
