Rivkin Radler LLP is seeking an experienced attorney with a minimum of six (6) years of litigation experience to join our Professional Liability Group in our Hackensack, New Jersey office. Candidates with significant experience handling professional liability (non-medical) and employment practices liability matters are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience independently managing complex litigation matters and supervising junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Position Highlights:
- Join a collaborative and sophisticated litigation team handling complex professional liability and employment practices matters
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including developing litigation strategy and overseeing case teams
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal support personnel
Qualifications:
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
- Admission to the New York Bar (preferred)
- Minimum of six (6) years of litigation experience
- Significant experience handling professional liability (non-medical) and/or employment practices liability matters
- Proven ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Experience taking and defending depositions, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in mediation and settlement negotiations
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing junior attorneys and legal staff
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Excellent client management and communication skills
Compensation:
- Annualized salary range: $175,000 - $200,000
- Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, leadership responsibilities, portable business (if any), and other job-related factors permitted by law
