We're looking for a Social Media & Community Events Marketing Associate to help Farah & Farah show up, both online and in person, across the communities we serve. This is a hands-on role: part content creator, part event coordinator. You'll support day-to-day organic social content while helping coordinate and execute events and community initiatives like NYE Safe Ride Home.

This role is best suited for someone who's equally comfortable behind a camera and behind an event checklist, someone who can capture a moment as it happens, turn it into engaging social content, and then jump in to help bring the next community activation to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, film, edit, and publish organic content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube on a consistent posting cadence
  • Write on-brand captions and scripts that reflect Farah & Farah's voice
  • Coordinate with attorneys and staff to capture authentic content, both day-to-day and at events
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; engage with the community in real time
  • Track organic social performance and event outcomes, and report out regularly to the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Director
  • Stay current on platform trends, formats, and algorithm shifts, and bring recommendations forward, content strategy accordingly
  • Maintain organized content archives, event timelines, and asset libraries
  • Support planning and execution for community initiatives and events, including vendor coordination, event timelines, on-site setup, and day-of logistics
  • Serve as an on-the-ground point of contact at events, capturing content and representing the firm
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media, event coordination, community relations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit short-form video for social media
  • Strong writing skills with an ear for tone and voice
  • Comfortable approaching people, capturing content, and interacting with attendees at community events
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube best practices and native tools
  • Familiarity with editing tools such as Veed, Adobe Premiere, or similar
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with attorneys, staff, vendors, and community partners
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules
  • A genuine interest in community, local news, social media, and storytelling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting community events, activations, or vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics, or listening tools
  • Photography, lighting, and audio experience beyond basic social content creation
  • Spanish language skills

What Success Looks Like:

  • Reliable follow-through on the details
  • Consistent, high-quality social content output that builds engagement and trust with our audience, not just follower count
  • Well-coordinated community events and initiatives that run smoothly, on time, and reflect positive on the firm
  • Content that feels authentic to Farah & Farah's community-first brand rather than generic law firm marketing
  • Strong working relationships with attorneys, staff, and community partners
  • A well-organized, forward-planned content and event calendar with minimal last-minute scrambling

Benefits We Offer:

  • 401(k) with matching contributions
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and short-term disability coverage
  • Paid time off and an employee assistance program
  • Health and savings account
  • Referral program

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Onsite in a professional office setting
