Real Estate Investment and Finance Counsel (New York)
Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly qualified counsel to join its premier Real Estate Investment and Finance group in the New York office.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of complex commercial real estate experience at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm and be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible for submission on waiver. Required experience should include experience with real estate debt and equity transactions, drafting transactional documents, including equity operating documents, loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and joint venture agreements, experience with transactional due diligence review, including title and survey matters, and the ability to manage all aspects of transactional closings. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and take ownership of work assignment responsibilities.
The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000 - $450,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history and class/graduation year.
