California – Junior to Mid-Level OSHA and Employment Litigation Associate
Fisher Phillips seeks an associate with at least two years of employment litigation experience who is interested in dedicating at least 50% of their time to supporting the firm's Workplace Safety Practice Group.
Qualified candidates should be comfortable:
- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
- Drafting and arguing motions and other briefs
- Taking and defending depositions
Experience defending employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, or other state OSHA plans is preferred, even if limited, but is not required. Candidates without workplace safety experience who can demonstrate a genuine interest in gaining experience in this area will also be considered.
Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Admission to the California Bar and a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school are required.

The yearly salary range for this position is $170,000 – $245,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, office location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
