Job Summary 

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and client-focused Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation matters, preferably including personal injury cases, and possess excellent advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills. This role involves representing clients throughout all phases of litigation, providing legal counsel, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and ensure exceptional client service. 


Responsibilities 

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters. 
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. 
  • Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents. 
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide legal advice to clients regarding case progress and potential outcomes. 
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain regular communication regarding case status and legal options. 
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely case progression and compliance with court deadlines. 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, court rules, ethical standards, and firm policies. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files using the firm's case management system. 

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree from an accredited law school. 
  • Active Bar license to practice law (required). 
  • Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience preferred; personal injury litigation experience is highly desirable. 
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal research. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills. 
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases while meeting strict deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Experience with legal research platforms and case management software is preferred. 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with professionalism and empathy. 
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
