We're seeking a motivated Paralegal to join the team.

Our Fraud team is known for handling a variety of intricate cases across the insurance sector, making us the preferred choice for clients looking for innovative and practical solutions. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, working on fraud cases both pre-litigated and litigated for a wide variety of clients.

The position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the expectation to be in the Liverpool office two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of defendant motor fraud cases, from inception to resolution.
  • Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
  • Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system.
  • Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
  • Researching to support legal strategies and case development.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Essential

    • Experience handling or assisting on litigated personal injury or fraud matters (motor experience desirable).
    • A strong understanding of the CPR and civil litigation process.
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
    • Confidence in working to deadlines and managing a varied caseload.
    • A genuine interest in insurance fraud and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
