Sheppard, an Am Law 50 global law firm, is seeking IP Litigation Associates with 2–6 years of experience to join our nationally recognized Intellectual Property Practice Group in Del Mar or Dallas. Exceptional candidates may be considered for other firm locations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years of IP litigation experience, including district court patent cases, ITC matters, and/or PTAB proceedings.

  • Background in science and technology, ideally with a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.

  • Prior experience with complex technologies (wireless communications, semiconductors, software, consumer electronics, etc.) is advantageous.

  • Demonstrated keen interest in both team collaboration and advanced legal problem-solving.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the application is submitted.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the responsible and ethical use of AI technologies within legal practice.

The annual salary range for this position is $235,000–$390,000.
