Mergers and Acquisitions, Associate
The Philadelphia office of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader seeks an outstanding mid-level associate (4th-6th year) to join our sophisticated and growing M&A practice. We represent public and private company clients on cross-border and domestic transactions in a broad range of industries, with an emphasis on transactions in the life sciences and healthcare, energy, consumer, and financial services sectors. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader provides its professionals with a large international platform with tangible opportunities for professional growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, including conducting due diligence of acquisition targets, drafting transaction agreements and interacting effectively with client teams. Applicants should be generally familiar with Delaware and New York corporate and federal securities laws. Excellent academic credentials and a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are required. Large regional, national or international law firm experience is preferred. It is critical that candidates are comfortable working and interacting with large deal teams on complex transactions and able to integrate into a dynamic team environment. Candidates must be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
