Entry-Level Litigation Paralegal
Location: New York, NY, Hybrid (5 WFH days/month)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Litigation Paralegal to support our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in gaining experience within a high-stakes litigation-focused law firm. With guidance from senior paralegals, the successful candidate will assist in the strategic planning for and administration of complex cases by ensuring that necessary resources and logistics are coordinated, case materials and legal research are collected, organized, and maintained, and filings are completed according to court rules throughout all aspects of case management,trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys and senior paralegals with all phases of commercial litigation, from pre-trial through trial
Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery responses, and related materials
Draft legal correspondence, document summaries, and basic filings
Conduct legal and factual research using internet databases
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and third-party vendors
Manage litigation calendars and deadlines
Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials for various stages of litigation, including depositions, oral arguments, and trials.
Data entry into various internal and external databases
Maintain strong attention to detail while handling multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Initiate completion and streamline of workflows in collaboration with attorneys and paralegals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (paralegal certificate is a plus but not required)
Strong attention to detail, writing, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn legal and document management software
Ability to take direction and work as part of a collaborative team
Enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn
Additional Information:
Standard hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay
