Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Business Trial Associate Attorney to join our New York office.

The Healthcare Litigation Industry Team represents healthcare and life sciences clients in complex commercial litigation and government investigations throughout the country. Our healthcare litigation team protects the interests of our clients in commercial litigation and civil disputes, internal investigations, enforcement actions, and rulemaking challenges. The business needs of our clients and the healthcare regulatory environment shape all aspects of our dispute management strategy, from possible out-of-court resolution of disputes all the way through trial.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
3-5 years of litigation experience required
Complex civil litigation experience, including representing healthcare and life sciences entities in commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as experience with the False Claims Act and similar anti-fraud statues is a plus
Strong academic background from a top-tier law school
Comparable law firm experience
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Candidates must be an active member of the New York State Bar. Resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample are required to apply.
The annual salary range for this position is $260,000 - $310,000.
