2027 Salt Lake City Summer Associate

Quinn Emanuel is seeking highly motivated rising 2L candidates for the Summer 2027 program who are passionate about becoming trial lawyers. As a summer associate, you will work on cutting-edge litigation matters and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You’ll support attorneys with case preparation, legal research, drafting briefs, attending client meetings, and taking on early responsibilities. This role is designed for students eager to develop the skills necessary to succeed as a litigator, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing for and conducting trials.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding academic credentials, strong writing ability, and a passion for oral advocacy, which are often exemplified by excellent grades, involvement in moot court or a law journal, and a desire to engage in trial practice. Students with science and engineering backgrounds, and an interest in applying that knowledge to IP litigation, are especially encouraged to apply.
