2026 Senior Law Clerk - Finance & Restructuring

The New York office of Pillsbury seeks a high-performing, enthusiastic law school graduate from the class of 2026 to join the Finance & Restructuring Business Unit as a Senior Law Clerk. Pillsbury’s finance lawyers build innovative and effective financing solutions for the business shaping the world today, managing the full spectrum of issues that impact financial transactions in all industries, and a successful candidate would work on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions alongside highly sophisticated practitioners.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal, communication, research and writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills, and excellent professional judgement. The candidate must be committed to beginning their career in a fast-paced and exciting group that provides the highest level of client service. Should have demonstrated interest or experience in finance, restructuring, bankruptcy, secured transactions, or related areas.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate is required to have a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record. Must be eligible to sit for the July 2026 New York Bar Exam and must obtain admission to the New York Bar within the time required by the Firm.

We expect that you will commence employment on or around October 12, 2026. Salary is the same rate paid to our first-year associates and is commensurate with market standards.
