Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney
Hoge Fenton, a distinguished multi-service law firm, is seeking a Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join our Trust & Estate group.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of extensive experience in Trust and Estate litigation and a demonstrated interest in providing advice and counsel to clients with a broad spectrum of Trust and Estate issues.
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the State Bar of California
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Trust & Estate litigation
Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Excellent reputation for integrity and collegiality among both bench and bar
Key Responsibilities
Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation.

Represent trustees, executors, administrators and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation, including:
Contests based upon lack of capacity, undue influence, or fraud;
Negligent management of assets;
Failure to account, or Inadequate accounting;
Co-trustee disputes;
Removal and surcharge actions;
Breach of fiduciary duty (lack of impartiality, self-dealing & secret profits)
Supervise and mentor associates
Location
This position can be based in any of our offices: Silicon Valley (downtown San Jose), Tri-Valley (Pleasanton), or Peninsula (San Mateo). Travel between locations may be necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $205,000 to $255,000. This range reflects the firm’s good faith estimate of potential compensation, which may vary based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
