Our IP, Media & Technology Practice Group provides business-oriented, practical solutions to legal issues that are faced by clients at every stage of the business cycle in domestic and international transactions that involve intellectual property (IP) rights and technology. Our attorneys structure, prepare and negotiate hundreds of IP transactions and licenses each year from the perspectives of both the vendor and customers and work collaboratively with other practice groups to provide value-added services to clients in corporate mergers, dispositions, strategic alliances and business combinations, and financings and restructurings involving technology and IP assets.

Our IP, Media & Technology team has earned consistent recognition as a leading IP practice by highly regarded legal directories, including a Band 1 ranking by Chambers USA and designation as a "Highly Recommended" firm by IP Stars, with numerous attorneys individually recognized as top IP practitioners. We are seeking an associate with one (1) to five (5) years of experience in intellectual property and technology transactions including counseling clients on licensing agreements; IP due diligence; outsourcing and managed services agreements; and supply and distribution agreements to join our intellectual property group in our Chicago or Nashville office locations. Candidates must have excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as excellent academic credentials. Salary for this position, if located in our Chicago or Washington, D.C. office, will be in the range of $225,000-$365,000. This is a salary range and actual salary will be determined based on the experience of the candidate.
