Construction Litigation Associate - Seattle or Portland
Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, is seeking a highly qualified attorney to join its industry-leading Construction Litigation practice in Seattle or Portland. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Construction law, especially representing public owners, developers, architects, engineers, and/or design firms in complex construction projects, with a focus on both litigation and contract development. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required. A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is strongly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collegial environment of a national law firm. Active bar license in Washington or Oregon, or the ability to waive in via motion, reciprocity, or UBE transfer, is required.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is from $210,000 to $305,000, which reflects the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
