Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking experienced associates to join the Firm's Credit & Leveraged Finance group. Ideal candidates should have at least one to two years of experience working in the finance practice at a law firm, and strong academic credentials. This is an opportunity for experienced lawyers, and as such, current law students are not eligible for consideration for this role. About the Credit & Leveraged Finance Group: By working as one integrated team across practice groups and geographies, including the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific, lawyers in our Credit & Leveraged Finance practice devise novel business solutions to meet the diverse needs of corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, private debt providers and other market participants. Our practice is highly active across a wide array of industries: digital infrastructure, industrials, telecoms, energy and natural resources, sports, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, real estate and beyond. We work with clients that range from emerging growth companies to large-cap, multinational corporates and well-known private funds. Many of our financing transactions are for international clients or involve cross-border elements. Our leveraged finance lawyers work across the full spectrum of debt products, including acquisition financings, first lien and second lien term loans, asset-based and cash flow revolving credit facilities, mezzanine financings, subordinated notes, high-yield bond offerings and debt-like preferred equity. We frequently work on high-profile or novel financing transactions that are widely covered in the market. We provide excellent training and mentorship for our lawyers, and an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing, top of the market practice. The standard scale is included below. 1st year (Class of 2025): $235,000 2nd year (Class of 2024): $245,000 3rd year (Class of 2023): $270,000 4th year (Class of 2022): $320,000 5th year (Class of 2021): $385,000 6th year (Class of 2020): $410,000 7th year (Class of 2019): $440,000 8th year (Class of 2018): $455,000 9th year (Class of 2017): $455,000 It is the Firm’s policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
