Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking experienced associates to join the Firm's General Practice (corporate) - Capital Markets group. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience working in the corporate group at a law firm with a significant Capital Markets practice. This is an opportunity for experienced lawyers, and as such, current law students are not eligible for consideration. Also, in recent years, our Capital Markets lawyers have counseled clients on corporate governance and evolving disclosure matters, such as ESG-related disclosure issues, and have counseled corporates and sovereign entities on novel capital markets transactions, including sustainability and green bond offerings. Salary The associate base salary is tied to assigned associate class year. The standard scale is included below. 1st year (Class of 2025): $235,000 2nd year (Class of 2024): $245,000 3rd year (Class of 2023): $270,000 4th year (Class of 2022): $320,000 5th year (Class of 2021): $385,000 6th year (Class of 2020): $410,000 7th year (Class of 2019): $440,000 8th year (Class of 2018): $455,000 9th year (Class of 2017): $455,000 It is the Firm’s policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
