Mid-Level Real Estate Associate

Patterson Belknap is seeking a fourth to seventh year associate to join its Real Estate Department. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated commercial real estate experience acquired while practicing at a New York City law firm with a focus on "dirt law" (leasing, conveyancing, design/construction/development, as opposed to a capital markets or finance background). We are open to considering a reduced hours schedule for the right candidate. Qualifications: Desire to work in a small, tight-knit group that offers broad training and gives early responsibility to junior attorneys and offers the opportunity to work directly with partners and other senior attorneys from the outset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Careful attention to details. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A flexible problem solver, self-directed, client service oriented, and collaborative. Strong academic credentials. Must be admitted and in good standing to practice in New York. ​ The expected salary range for this position is $310,000 - $405,000 per year, pro-rated for a reduced hours schedule, if applicable, plus competitive benefits and bonus eligibility.
