Associate - Media and Advertising

Our Practice. Our Media and Advertising team works at the forefront of evolving areas such as advertising and marketing compliance, data privacy and security, and emerging technologies. We counsel Fortune 100 brands in all aspects of the commercialization of products and services, brand protection, and the development of practical, scalable privacy and data compliance programs amid a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. Our practice also includes structuring influencer and talent agreements, media and advertising arrangements, and sports sponsorships, and advising on artificial intelligence matters involving regulatory compliance, monetization, and IP protection. We are seeking an associate or senior associate with a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in advertising and marketing compliance, brand protection, media and content licensing, data privacy and security, and emerging technologies (including AI and digital platforms). Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, including transactions involving significant data assets, consumer-facing programs, and strategic brand and technology initiatives. Candidates must have excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong academic credentials. Candidates may be based in our Chicago or Nashville office locations. Salary for this position, if located in our Chicago office, will be in the range of $225,000-$365,000. This is a salary range and actual salary will be determined based on the experience of the candidate.
