Labor and Employment Litigation Associate - Los Angeles

Ballard Spahr LLP, a more than 750 lawyer firm with 19 offices across the U.S., is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its expanding Labor & Employment Litigation practice in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have five to seven years of relevant Labor & Employment Litigation experience in California. In particular, the group seeks an Associate to defend employers in single plaintiff cases and wage & hour class and representative actions, including under the Private Attorney General Act (“PAGA”). Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is from $250,000 to $320,000, which reflects the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
