Bankruptcy Associate

AGG, an Am Law 200 firm with more than 200 attorneys and offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., is seeking an associate with three to five years of substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings, including experience representing both debtors and committees of unsecured creditors. Candidates must have bankruptcy court experience, including handling contested hearings and adversary proceedings. This role offers a diverse practice mix, as the associate will also work on general litigation matters. Successful candidates will possess strong academic credentials, legal research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position can be located in our Atlanta or Washington, D.C. offices. AGG offers competitive compensation arrangements. The expected salary range for this position is $225,000 to $310,000.
