Mid-Level Finance Associate / Senior Finance Associate - Houston

Vinson & Elkins is seeking a mid-level finance associate or senior finance associate for its Houston office — the firm's largest office and home to one of the nation's preeminent finance practices. Candidates should have 4 or more years of experience (J.D. class of 2022 or earlier). Ranked No. 1 in Texas by Vault, where associates call it "honestly the best BigLaw can get," V&E's finance team handles some of the most complex and high-value financing transactions in the market. Candidates should have experience representing commercial bank and private credit lenders, private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and/or investors in debt financing and hybrid investment transactions. Relevant experience includes senior-secured, junior-secured, and mezzanine lending, acquisition and leveraged financings, reserve-based lending, project financings, securitizations, and other structured financings and credit investments. Experience with private credit, data center financing, and/or alternative capital transactions is a plus.
