Associate Attorney - Labor & Employment (Wage & Hour Class Actions)

BakerHostetlerâ s Columbus office is seeking a mid- to senior-level employment litigation associate to join its nationally recognized Labor and Employment Group, which is highly ranked by Chambers USA and Best Law Firms. 

Qualifications include:
â ¢ 5-7 years of experience in employment litigation and experience in non-competition enforcement/defense a plus but not required
â ¢ Able to manage cases from intake, initial pleadings, through discovery and motion practice and assist in trial and trial preparation
â ¢ Proficiency in legal research, fact development, depositions, written discovery and discovery disputes, and drafting motions and briefs
â ¢ Experience reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and/or revising employment related agreements, as well as conducting employment related due diligence, is a plus but not required
â ¢ Superior attention to detail, exceptional research and writing ability, and outstanding communication skills
â ¢ A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
â ¢ Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
