BakerHostetlerâ s Columbus office is seeking an Immigration associate with 2â 4 years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Labor and Employment Group, which is highly ranked by Chambers USA and Best Law Firms. A strong interest and background in employment-based immigration is important.
Qualifications:
â ¢ 2â 4 years of experience practicing employment-based immigration law, including securing temporary work visas and permanent residency (green card) solutions for foreign nationals
â ¢ Experience advising employers on complex I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements
â ¢ Proven experience preparing and filing H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, TN, and O-1 petitions, as well as permanent residence applications, including PERM, I-140, and I-485 matters
â ¢ J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
â ¢ Active license to practice law in Ohio
