Litigation Associate (Los Angeles)

Jenner & Block LLP (www.jenner.com) is seeking a mid-level or senior associate, with 3-6 years of experience, to join our busy and growing Content, Media, and Entertainment Practice in our Los Angeles or Century City office.

Our nationally recognized and award-winning Content, Media, and Entertainment (CME) team is immersed in virtually all aspects of the media and entertainment industries and understands the highly complex issues innovative companies face. We practice at the forefront of these changes and guide clients in evaluating and analyzing emerging technologies and platforms, navigating and litigating disputes, advising on legislation and regulation, and providing practical, creative guidance on strategic transactions.

The successful candidate can expect to work on a wide variety of fast-moving and complex matters. Duties include client counseling, oral advocacy before a variety of courts and governmental agencies, fact development, legal research, strategic analysis, and writing.

â ¢ Candidate should be a detail-oriented, independent self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills.
â ¢ Strong academic credentials are required.
â ¢ Candidate should possess a strong commitment to pro bono representation. 
â ¢ The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment is essential.
â ¢ Membership in the California bar is required.

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be $260,000 - $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
