The Attorney & Client Success Manager will assist with coordination of the full cycle talent acquisition/recruitment process for lateral shareholders and associates as well as manage the On Campus Interview (OCI)/summer/first-year associate programs. May also provide additional support to other offices.


Essential Functions:

Meets regularly with office management, recruiting chairs and/or practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates

Provides support for and coordinates all on-campus recruiting activities and events

Manages entire process for law school recruitment, and assists the Retention & Recruitment Committee with lateral attorney recruitment, including initial review of candidate materials, response to inquiries, collection of information from candidates, coordination of interview process (scheduling, monitoring, evaluation follow-up, etc.), and communication with candidates and search firms regarding candidate status

Coordinates with Human Resources and other administrative departments to complete various recruitment-related checks (background, conflicts, references, bar status, etc.) and new hire-related paperwork as well as other employment related processes

Assists other offices with candidate and market research as necessary

Develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines through creative sourcing strategies- think job fairs, community partnerships, schools, outreach events and social media

Maintains applicant database and department records and generates reports

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal hiring regulations

Support the continuous improvement of our recruitment process and candidate experience

Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications:

Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation Laws

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.

Three to five years of related experience required.

Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (i.e. Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter)

High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation; ability to interact effectively with candidates, all levels of firm personnel, and a variety of external clients

Provides outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services, and meet or exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others

Possesses superior judgment and discretion; recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information, and maintain confidentiality

Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills

Demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering high-quality results
