The Austin office of Jackson Walker is seeking an attorney with 4-10 years of Real Estate experience. This role will focus on high-volume land acquisition and development transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, and similar instruments, as well as structuring rolling land and lot takedowns and off-balance sheet transactions, as well as a strong understanding of the residential development lifecycle. The candidate should also be proficient in title and survey review, resolving title defects, and preparing title curative instruments. Familiarity with land banking structures, entitlement contingencies, due diligence processes, and joint development agreements is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with clients and outside counsel, and deliver consistent, high-quality work product in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
