Professional Liability Partner Attorney - Los Angeles

The Los Angeles, CA office of Kaufman Dolowich is seeking an experienced Professional Liability Partner Attorney to lead and grow its Professional Liability practice in our LA office. This role is ideal for a client-focused attorney with strong leadership skills, deep professional liability defense experience, and a demonstrated ability to develop business and manage complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead, expand and oversee the Professional Liability practice
• Handle complex defense matters through all phases of litigation
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients
• Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals
• Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives
• Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities

Qualifications

• JD and admission to the California Bar and in good standing
• 10+ years of professional liability defense experience
• Established book of business in the Los Angeles Area preferred
• Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills
• Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred
