Position Overview


We are seeking a talented and motivated Appellate Attorney with at least 3 years of appellate

experience to join our growing team at Bibiyan Law Group, PC. This role offers the opportunity

to work on cutting-edge employment, wage-and-hour, class action, and representative litigation

matters that shape California law.


The ideal candidate is an exceptional legal writer and strategist who enjoys analyzing complex

legal issues, developing persuasive arguments, and collaborating with trial teams to achieve

outstanding results for employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft appellate briefs, writ petitions, motions, and other appellate filings.
  • Analyze and preserve appellate issues throughout litigation.
  • Partner with attorneys on dispositive motions, jury instructions, and post-trial motions.
  • Conduct sophisticated legal research and provide strategic recommendations on novel legal issues.
  • Assist with oral argument preparation and appellate strategy.
  • Monitor developments in California employment and class action law.

Required Qualifications

  • Active membership in the California Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of appellate litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience drafting appellate briefs and dispositive motions.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex matters independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality advocacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Employment law experience.
  • Wage-and-hour litigation experience.
  • Class action and/or PAGA experience.
  • Experience before California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.
  • Federal appellate experience.
