Finance Associate / Senior Associate - New York

Vinson & Elkins is seeking a finance associate or senior associate for its New York office. Candidates should have 4 or more years of experience (J.D. class of 2022 or earlier). A Vault Law 100 firm and one of the Best Law Firms to Work For, where associates call it "honestly the best BigLaw can get," V&E's team advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as direct lenders and bulge bracket banks, across a wide array of financing transactions.

Candidates should have experience representing corporate borrowers and/or lenders on institutional term loans, alternative lender and private credit transactions, and/or commercial bank loans. Experience with acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, leveraged lending and/or private credit transactions is highly valued. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential.

The annual base salary ranges from $310,000+. Salary determinations are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, year classification, graduation year, skills, and experience level.
